Brian Taylor
Founder / CEO, Bolder Flight Systems
I'm a pilot, engineer, and the Founder of Bolder Flight Systems, where we develop the best data acquisition and flight control systems for manned and unmanned aircraft.
Previously, I was the Director for the University of Minnesota UAS Research Labs, and a researcher at the NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center, where I was Deputy Chief Engineer on X-48C and a researcher in flight controls and dynamics. I've supported hundreds of flight tests on manned and unmanned aircraft.
I've taught introductory and graduate courses on aircraft systems and design, aircraft performance, state estimation, and flight dynamics and controls. Flight systems, software, and data analysis are passions of mine. I have a private pilot’s license, instrument rating, complex and high-performance endorsements, and a lifelong passion for aviation. I'm currently building an EAB Rans S-21, which you can find updates of my progress in my builder's log.
